There is finally that fall nip in the air and that means it’s fall. Keep the faith in dem Os and Ravens but make time for our next show on October 15! Search for some fun, Halloween-themed music you can have playing when the trick-or-treaters come by. Scare up some great deals and steals at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department Hall. FREE admission and plenty of FREE parking! Even though the hours are 9 am – 3 pm, the early birds could barely wait at the September show for our fabulous vendors to set up their tables! They know we have great stuff!

One of our wonderful longtime vendors, Dave, has a wonderful collection of 70s blacklight posters! Get your groovy on!

Fall is around the corner but there is still a lot of summer left! Our next show is Sunday, August 20, 9 am -3 pm at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department. Here is a cool jazz cover borrowing art from the great Art Nouveau artist, Alphonse Mucha. That movement influence lots of art in the 70s from jazz covers to film titles. Just check out the opening credits for the film “Duel at Diablo” that also has a great Neal Hefti score.

Thank you for sharing some of Father’s Day with us last month! This will be our third July show in a row! Cool down with some hot deals on Sunday, July 16th! Look for summer tunes to rock your next barbecue, pool party, or vacation! The hours are 9 am – 3 pm, no admission and FREE ample parking at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.

Our show has it all! Last month, we found such a variety of cool things from posters, record players of all kinds, books, games, DVDs, CDs, 8-track tapes—even some wonderful Beatles memorabilia, including a display of miniature Beatles albums which were actually like trading cards with bubble gum in the shape of a record inside! Come on down—you never know what you will find!

We were sorry to hear about the passing of a true legend, a fierce survivor, Queen of Soul, Tina Turner. She is truly was the best!

Last month, we had another great visit from Lonesome Dave Fisher and his trio, including his very talented son. They performed three sets of music, entertaining everyone in attendance. The show was packed with great vendors and shoppers alike, along with some interesting finds!

Spring is finally here! Deals will be blooming SUNDAY, April 16, at the Arbutus Volunteer Department Fire Hall in Arbutus from 9 am – 3 pm. Admission is FREE and parking is FREE! All our great vendors will be there with tons of fun music items.

Last month’s show was a great success and Janet and Chrissy were still in the St. Patty’s spirit putting on the green!

It’s always great to welcome new vendors and especially the younger generation that discover and carry on the love of classic music. Alex (with his gal) is an Eastern Shore native and got into collecting records while living in Seattle around 2013-14. His friend worked at Easy Street Records, one of the great records stores in the area, and that’s how he got hooked! He’s glad to be back in Maryland and is living in Ellicott City. He said her will be doing more shows!

Is it spring or winter? We started 2023 in January with a great show with lots of vendors and buyers. Our next show is coming up on Sunday, February 19 at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Hall from 9 am – 3 pm. Plenty of free parking and never an admission fee!.You can still get a gift for your special Valentine. Celebrate celebrate Black History month with the great legacy of Black musicians. Come spend those “presidents” ahead of Presidents Day!

We recently lost one of the great legends of pop music at age 94, Burt Bacharach. His influence and all the great musicians who have covered his extensive catalog is incalculable! You can find tons of albums everywhere at the show.

We also had a lovely, new vendor last month, Adam Marsh from Leesburg, and hope we will be seeing him at more shows in the future.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and safe New Year! We hope you had a great holiday season! It’s time for first show of the new year on Sunday, JANUARY 15! Our great vendors are returning to the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department Hall from 9 am – 3 pm. No admission and plenty of FREE parking. We had a great show last month with lots of people coming to shop. Some festive folks from The December show!

Below are many of the great things we spotted, including some very lunch boxes, buttons, vinyl (of course), Beatles items, even a record player and some vintage toys were for sale—and of course Christmas albums. We always remember Elvis in January as well. It’s time to start thinking about LOVE and Valentine’s Day coming up since our next show will be after that holiday.

It’s hard to believe it is our final show of 2022 on Sunday, December 18 —just in time for holiday shopping for Christmas and also the first day of Hanukkah! Celebrate the season with us while looking for wonderful music gifts! We are open from 9 am to 3 pm and admission and parking are always FREE!

Lots of exciting things from last month’s show! First we had a special treat of LIVE music from “Lonesome” Dave Fisher, his very talented son Gus (he’s only 12 and starting playing guitar only two years ago) on guitar, and his bass player Brad, with three mini-sets at 10 am 11 am, and 12 noon. (He also performs at the iconic The Horse You Came In On Saloon in Fell’s Point.) Dave plays “Real 1950s-Styled Rockabilly Music.” He also had some of his music, T-shirts, buttons, and stickers for sale.

Dave is not only talented but a really nice guy! He came from Colorado during the pandemic and they discovered a wonderful house in Baltimore. They love the weird, fun, and creative vibe of Baltimore and he says that everyone here is really friendly (we like to hear that!) Dave gives lessons at the School of Rock here and also teaches guitar, ukulele, and pre-school music classes at the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School in Pikesville. He’s working on a recording project in December. We welcome him and his family and wish him all the best and success with his music here in Baltimore!
